The Hampton Hotel is located in the Downtown Eastside near Vancouver’s historic Gas Town. This single room occupancy hotel has staffing on site for 24 hours and meal support and medication assistance for those who may need those services.

Hotel Outreach Program – Three SRO hotels in the Downtown Eastside
Number of clients: 164

This program, based out of two BC Housing owned Single Room Occupancy Hotels in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, assists individuals with complex support needs. The support workers liaise/advocate with other local agencies and services to ensure continuity of support services for tenants and to assist tenants to maintain their tenancy and to prepare for next step housing.

This group home, located in the Fraser District of East Vancouver, is based on communal living, peer support and shared responsibility by those who live there. Residents take turns with chores and meal preparation and a staff person is onsite during the daytime from Monday to Friday to assist with the running of the household.

Located in Vancouver, Winston Manor provides programming for 4 individuals in need of Respite services and 4 individuals involved with the Community Transition Team. The short-term transition team program focuses on hospital aversion and/or step down from hospital to assist in returning members to the home in the community. The Respite program allows a 30-day stay for those needing short term alternatives to their current housing environment.

The Advocacy Program is mobile and our services are provided both at our West 4th office as well as off site throughout the Vancouver Coastal Health Region and other areas in the lower mainland on a limited basis.

The MPA Resource Centre is open 7 days a week ( apart from some statutory holidays). It offers a safe, friendly, warm environment with breakfast and low cost evening meals available. There is a varied activity schedule, pool table, TV’s, Art Studio, shower and laundry facilities.
