Sara Pavan

Sara Pavan brings experience in the governance of social housing and in the development and execution of mental health and social policy and programs. An immigrant to Canada, her motivation to join the Board of MPA Society is to contribute her skills to the community in which she lives. With a background in social policy, Sara has worked with marginalized communities to better to understand their needs and develop effective services. She believes in the importance of recognizing and centering the agency, autonomy and lived experience of clients in the design and delivery of social programs. Sara now provides strategic advice to executive teams and Boards in order to advance policies and programs that benefit all British Columbians.
