The Homeless Outreach Program (HOP) provides services to some of the most marginalized folks on Vancouver’s west side. The HOP worker connects with homeless individuals to assist them with becoming housing ready. This is done by assisting them with housing applications, preparing for housing interviews, accessing ID, connecting people to Ministry support, mental health or other services and advocating on their behalf. HOP helps source affordable suitable housing for members while also administering rent subsidies to support people to maintain their housing.
