Banyan House focuses on developing the knowledge, skills and abilities of members with the aim of realizing independence. This program actively pursues the development and enhancement of a respectful and creative partnership with residents using the principles of psychosocial rehabilitation.
Programming
Banyan House has a strong history of working in partnership with members who have severe and persistent mental health challenges. In an environment of mutual respect, dignity and goal-oriented activities, residents at Banyan House are self-directed and empowered.
Goals
Banyan House strives to work with residents to realize self-directed goals, develop relevant and realistic daily living skills and assist in living meaningful lives that are not defined by their mental health issues.
